I'm forever obsessed by the big contrast that is that Anakin is universally percieved like a dog or a dragon (for obvious reasons, it fits him!), obviously I mostly mean by the fandom, but in-universe there's lots of dragon comparisons.

But Padmé is the only character ever to compare him to an animal (a feline) that's universally considered as very independent, stealthy and regal, and like it is so jarring and out of the blue after being sold into the dragon-dog agenda that at first it doesn't make sense, but then again Padmé's the character that knew Anakin the most and it was Anakin's only relationship with not strange power dynamics attached to it and I think there's some beautiful and a very interesting comment to make about it.

It’s all fun and games to speculate on what Edwin writes in his notebook all the time, but if he’s been writing notes in there both during his time in hell and in the decades since, then there has to be so much arcane knowledge recorded within in those pages. He may not be inventing new spells (as far as we know---he 100% could be and we just weren’t shown that), but he’s been recording magical encounters, mapping hell, presumably making notes about anything that could help their future cases… That’s a wealth of knowledge right there, and I bet it’s super valuable. Not that Edwin would ever willingly get rid of it, but how much do you think all that would be worth, in the magical community? How dangerous would it be if somone else got ahold of it?

Seeing an ad on Tumblr for a "2025 Planner for people with ADHD" that is pretty much just a normal planner with quirky naughty words and phrases like "neurodiverse as fuck!" fills me with such rage.

Tell me you're a corporate entity that doesn't at all understand the disorder but wants to prey on young people who are desperate for a solution without saying it outright.

I'm getting to the end of Arc-V and Gong has been gradually growing on me since the very beginning and I must admit now that he's my favorite character this series for sure. He's way too underrated for a King, unfortunately, so I have drawn him as propaganda. ❤️💛Unintentionally, it kind of looks like a character intro screen from a video game lol, but I like it.

Ive been watching DP again for fic research purposes. Also b/c it's cool. Anyways have some 'i still hate how i was drawing his hair so i'm trying something else' doodles. I think i like these ones better? i was being too complicated before now it looks a little more natural

I have another doodle but i'm putting it under the cut b/c holy fk it looks creepy in a bad way. (i was experimenting. The experiments failed.)

....i think i'm gonna back off using actual water with my water color markers. This poor boy deserved better than this creepy look. (oddly enough this is the first instance of me wanting to use digital again since i started this book.

also you can't convince me karlach didn't have at least a little bit of a crush on gortash. the fact that she herself goes out of her way as a grown ass adult woman who has been through literal hell to say "i really liked him... but not like that!!!" is. kind of desperately adorable in a way gortash's ego would absolutely feed on
